A September 11th Love Story: Nick Marson and Diane Kirschke were passengers on Continental #05 during the events of September 11, 2001. Their flight, like many others, was diverted to Canada as part of Operation Yellow Ribbon after US airspace was closed due to the terrorist attacks. They found themselves among thousands of passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland. Nick and Diane met while waiting to receive blankets.
