From September 17th through October 31st, 2022, the Dallas Arboretum will feature 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash throughout the garden, forming a one-of-a-kind pumpkin village, filled with a fairy tale carriage, houses, a maze, and many other fall-themed decorations. Hall’s Pumpkin Farm (Grapevine)
Hall’s Pumpkin Farm and corn maze in Grapevine provides a classic pumpkin patch experience. On weekends in October, guests can enjoy an 8-acre maze, hayrides, slides, hay bales, photo props, and a train at Graff 7A Ranch. Pumpkins can also be bought on-site for your cooking, decorating, painting, or carving needs. Tickets are $14 to $18.50 and must be bought online, as the patch is cashless this year. Visit on Fridays from 6pm to 9pm, Saturdays from 10am to 9pm, and Sundays from noon to 5pm.

Pipe Creek Pumpkin Patch is located about 30 minutes away from San Antonio on a Christmas tree farm. The pumpkin patch activities here are perfect for children. This farm will be open on weekends in October from 11am to 5:30pm. Admission is $6 and includes hayrides, visiting farm animals, scarecrow fun, 6000 Christmas trees, and ‘lots of photo opportunities. Love Creek Orchards will host a pumpkin patch on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays in October. At this apple orchard, there are tree-ripened apples, cider, and apple goodies, on top of all the added fall festival activities. Admission is $8 (for kids 3 years and older), including pumpkin painting, tours, a hayride, a hay maze, and the chance to play an instrument in the Great Hill Country Symphony. It’s suggested to arrive early if you can so as not to miss out on some of the activities. The barrel train will cost $1 per ride. Active-duty military will receive $5 admission with their I.D.
Universal City Pumpkin Patch (Universal City)
The Universal City Pumpkin Patch will benefit various organizations. Admission is free, but the staff asks that you buy at least one pumpkin to support their cause. This pumpkin patch is open October 8th through October 29th on Mondays through Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm, as well as Fridays through Sundays from 10am to 7pm.
