Support local farms, small businesses, and other charitable organizations by visiting your local pumpkin patches and fall festivals. There are also several free, affordable, kid-friendly, and family-friendly pumpkin patches to experience all across Texas in 2023!

Keep in mind that some pumpkin patches and fall festivals in Texas wrap up on or around Halloween, but there are others that last into November! Soak up the fall fun while you can because we know fall temperatures don’t last very long in Texas.

Best Pumpkin Patches & Fall Festivals Near Dallas, Texas

The Dallas Arboretum (Dallas)

Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum is one of the best pumpkin patches in Texas! This year’s theme is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” with the return of the Peanuts Gang, a Pumpkin Village made up of themed pumpkin houses, hay bale maze and plenty of special events from September 16th through November 5th, 2023.

Tickets range from $12 to $20 a piece and children under 2 receive free entry. You can purchase your tickets in advance online.

Hall’s Pumpkin Farm (Grapevine)

Hall’s Pumpkin Farm and corn maze in Grapevine provides a classic pumpkin patch experience in Texas. Beginning September 29th, 2023, the farm will feature a wide selection of pumpkins, as well as a two-acre corn maze and old-fashioned hayrides!

They will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 8pm, Fridays from 3pm to 9pm, Saturdays from 10am to 9pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 8 pm. Although they will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, they will be open on Halloween!

Pumpkin Nights (Arlington)

Pumpkin Nights is a Halloween themed pumpkin patch experience happening in Arlington September 21st through October 30th, 2023, from 6pm to 11pm. This pumpkin-lined walking path will feature 10-foot-tall Jack-O-Lanterns, a pirate ship, monsters, and many more spooky surprises!

Prices vary between weekdays and weekends. Children 3 and under will receive free admission. Tickets must be bought in advance online. 

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience (Little Elm)

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is a magical journey that offers fans of the globally acclaimed series an unforgettable opportunity to explore the mystical Forbidden Forest.

This jaw-dropping experience includes a path through the woods that is filled with enchanting installations of some of the famous creatures from the series. Pumpkin Patch at Christ United Methodist Church (Plano)

At Christ United Methodist Church’s pumpkin patch, visitors can take lots of fall pictures and pick the perfect pumpkin from September 24th through October 31st, 2023. The pumpkin patch will be open from 9am to 7pm daily. Entry is free with pumpkins of all sizes available for purchase.

Lola’s Local Market (Melissa)

Lola’s Local Market will have pumpkin patch activities, including hayrides, pumpkin painting, a new haunted pallet maze, face painting, and family-friendly games. Admission is free, parking is $5 per car, and activities range from $1 to $5.

You can catch this cute, local pumpkin patch in North Texas September 23rd through October 29th, 2023 (Wednesdays & Thursdays, 3pm – 7pm; Fridays, 10am – 7pm; Saturdays, 10am – 7pm; Sundays, 12pm – 5pm. Activities are only available on the weekends, 12pm – 4pm).

Country Critters Farm Pumpkin Patch (Alvarado)

Country Critters Farm will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm beginning September 30th through November 5th, 2023.

Tickets prices will include bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, hayrides, duck races (ducks are $1), games, and storytelling! Tickets are $15 with children 2 years old and under receiving free admission.

Sunset Hill Tree Farm Pumpkin Patch (Alvarado)

Sunset Hill Tree Farm, also in Alvarado, has the perfect pumpkin patch for your little ones! On the weekends throughout the month of October beginning the 10th, there will be a bounce house, playground, scarecrows, hayrides, pumpkin painting, horseshoes, and climbing walls to enjoy!

Tickets are $10 per person (3 years and under get in free) and the pumpkin patch will be open from 9am to 5pm. Check their website for information on available discounts.

Yesterland Farm Pumpkin Patch (Canton)

Yesterland Farm in Canton will be open on weekends beginning September 23rd through November 5th, 2023. The hours will vary by weekend.

There will be rides, a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and so many farm attractions to enjoy! There will also be a new train ride and rollercoaster this year! You can purchase your tickets in advance online, but admission at the gate starts at $27.95. Children two and under will receive free entry.

Blase Family Farm Pumpkin Patch (Rockwall)

Blase Family Farm will host one of the best pumpkin patches in Texas, great for the entire family! For $10 a person (children under 23 months are free), you can enjoy a petting zoo, go on hayrides, explore the hay maze, or walk the wooded trail to see storyboards of Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

This pumpkin patch will be open September 23rd through October 30th, 2023 (Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm). Keep in mind that an online reservation is required.

Mainstay Farm Park (Cleburne)

Mainstay Farm Park will have ‘lots of fall farm activities, as well as a pumpkin patch at this year’s Fall Festival. There will be sheep races, hayrides, a Ferris wheel, sunflower patch, 100-foot chute slide, live bands (Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons), and SO much more! Mainstay’s Wine Terrace will be open as well!

The farm will host their Fall Festival September 23rd through November 4th, 2023, Friday through Sunday. Hours and admission costs will vary depending on when you choose to attend. See their website for prices and more information.

Elves Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch (Denison)

Elves Christmas Tree Farm will be hosting its fall festival and pumpkin patch from September 30th to October 29th, 2023. There will be hayrides, farm animals, sack races, and a dress-your-own scarecrow station, all perfect for the kids.

The Pumpkin Tour includes all activities and one pumpkin from the patch. The Ride Along Tour is $10, which also includes all activities but does NOT include a complimentary pumpkin. Or, just bring the family out to pick a pumpkin to carve at home. The pumpkin patch will be open Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

Mars Hill Farm Pumpkin Patch (Ferris)

During Harvest at the Hill on Mars Hill Farm, you can cut your very own sunflowers and pick pumpkins beginning October 14th, 2023 (8:00am to 2pm, Fridays & Saturdays).

There is a $5 entry fee (children 2 and under are free) and sunflowers are $2 per stem. On Saturdays, there will also be trailer rides, a petting zoo, and more fun activities!

Cobbins Family Pumpkin Patch (Sanger)

At Cobbins Family Pumpkin Patch, there will not only be a pumpkin patch, but also a giant maze, large playground, lawn games, craft tent, and even a toddler village and soft play area for infants!

You can visit the Cobbins Pumpkin Patch on weekends from September 30th to October 29th, 2023, 11am to 7pm. October 1st there will be a fall festival and farmers market with featured local vendors. On October 29th, well-behaved, leashed pups are invited!

Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for kids (3-12), while children under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance online.

Team Family Farms (Aubrey) 

Team Family Farms will be hosting their 8th Annual Pumpkin Patch everyday from September 30th to November 5th, 2023, 10am to 7pm. There will be pumpkin picking, a playground, and barrel train rides, hay maze, concessions, and farm animal fun!

Admission is TBD but will differ between weekdays and weekends. Children 2 and under will receive free entry. The farm is a cash preferred business.

Dallas Farmer’s Market (Downtown Dallas)

The pumpkin patch at the Dallas Farmer’s Market will be open daily from September 16th through October 31st, 2023, 10am to 5pm. You’ll find over 25 local, Texas pumpkin varieties for sale, as well as live music, chef demos, and more. Wander around the Dallas Farmer’s Market, grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, and enjoy the cooler weather (when it finally arrives).

The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm (Gunter)

Preston Trail Farms and the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm will prove to be ‘lots of fun for the whole family! This is the perfect place to take your yearly family photos, pick pumpkins, or tire out the kids for the day!

The patch will be open from September 16th through the November 22nd, 2023, 8am to 8pm. Weekday admission is $12 per person, $15 per person on weekends, and both tickets include a hayride, access to the roping pen, and the hay maze. Children under 2 will receive free admission.

The only difference is the weekend ticket includes the farm train, while with the weekday ticket, you can take home a small pumpkin!

Now, here is more good news! The Trail Café on the property serves breakfast and lunch, and when crawfish season is in full swing, so are they!

Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch (Van Alstyne)

Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch will charge $15 admission for anyone 2 years old and up. The fee will include a hayride, unlimited games/activities, and a mini or pie pumpkin from the patch (children 1 and under are free, pumpkin not included). Or, purchase a $12 ticket for entry to ONLY the pumpkin patch. Keep in mind the pumpkin slingshot will be an additional charge.

The patch will be open on weekends from September 23rd to October 29th, 2023 (Saturdays from 10am to 7pm and Sundays from 12:30pm to 5pm).

Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm (Midlothian)

Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm will be open September 30th to October 29th, 2023, for several weekends of family fun. There will be 25+ acres full of fall activities like a corn maze, pumpkin bowling, a hayride, petting zoo, and so much more!

Admission is $17 per person and $15 for seniors (55+), veterans, and first responders with an ID. Children 2 and under will receive free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.

This pumpkin patch will be open Saturdays from 10am to 6pm and Sundays from 1pm to 6pm. Tickets can be purchased online. Save time by filling out the waiver before heading to the farm.

Note: They will also be open select weekdays from 10am to 3pm (October 6, 9, 13, and 16).

Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch (Royce City)

The Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch will be open September 29th through October 31st, 2023 (Monday – Saturday: 11am – 6pm and Sunday 12pm – 5pm). There will be ‘lots of pumpkin activities, such as pumpkin smashing, pumpkin painting, and pumpkin carving. Admission and parking are free, although certain activities will have an additional cost.

5G Pumpkin Patch (McKinney)

5G Farm Pumpkin Patch will be open from September 25th to October 31st 2023, featuring an abundance of fall festival activities. There will be a corn maze, bounce houses, a mini corn maze, good food, vendors, and more.

Tickets are $5 a person. The pumpkin patch will be open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 11:30am, Friday from 11am to 7pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday from noon to 5pm. 

Gentle Zoo Pumpkin Patch (Forney) – Updates Coming Soon

Gentle Zoo Pumpkin Patch will be open October 1st to October 31st 2022 and will feature farm activities, as well as added fall festival fun. There will be pumpkins, squash, corn, and more for sale, along with several photo opportunities.

All proceeds will benefit the animals at the Gentle Zoo.

The pumpkin patch will be open Monday through Thursday 9:30am to 2pm, Friday/Saturday 9:30am to 8pm, and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. 

Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch (Jacksboro)

Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch will be open weekends from September 29th through October 29th, 2023 with activities like their new chicken tunnels, face painting, shopping, and food!

There will also be several featured events like Dog Days of Fall on October 28th, Live Music on the Deck (October 6-8), and a costume contest on October 29th.

Online tickets are $15 while tickets at the gate will be $20. Kids 2 and under and seniors 75+ will receive free admission. The pumpkin patch will be open Fridays 12pm to 6pm, Saturdays from 10am to 8pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.

Pumpkin Patch at Texas Home & Garden (Fort Worth) – Updates Coming Soon

The Texas Home and Garden Pumpkin Patch will be open at September 11th to October 30th with the same hours as the store, and with an abundance of pumpkins for sale.

Adriatica Pumpkin Patch (McKinney)

Adriatica Pumpkin Patch will host a FREE pumpkin patch on Sunday, October 29th, 2023, from 11am to 3pm.

There will also be pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, face painting, fall characters for photo ops, vendors, food trucks, and more!

Tickets are available for some activities ($2 per ticket or an all-inclusive wristband for $25 the day of the event). Proceeds will benefit the SPCA.

City of Princeton Fall Fest (Princeton)

Princeton will host their Fall Fest on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, from 2pm to 8pm. There will be arts and local crafts, food vendors, bounce houses, carnival games, costume contests, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a petting zoo, bull riding, and mutton busting.

Fall Fest at Grandscape (The Colony)

The Fall Fest at Grandscape will open on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, from 10am to 6pm. You’ll get to celebrate the cooler temps and fall foliage with a day full of entertainment that’s fun for the whole family. You’ll also get the chance to kickoff the day with a Texas vs. Oklahoma Watch Party followed by a special performance by Amanda Kate. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Fall Fest at the Historic Bain-Honaker House (Farmersville)

The Historic Bain-Honaker House will host their annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, beginning at 10am.

Here, you’ll get to enjoy live music on the porch by the famous E-Flat Band, the Annual Quilt Raffle a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for sale, photo ops, face painting, fall snacks, games, and more!

Best Pumpkin Patches & Fall Festivals Near Austin, Texas

Texas Pumpkin Fest (Leander)

Texas Pumpkin Fest is held September 30th through October 29th, serving the greater Austin area with one of the best, small town pumpkin patches in Texas!

There will be lots of free activities like slides, a kiddie train, Ferris wheel, magic shows and so much more! Keep in mind some additional cost activities will not be available on Thursdays.

Additionally, Thursdays are $10 a person. However, First Responders, the military, veterans, and their families are eligible to receive free admission. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, tickets are $13 a person.

Kids in diapers and those with special needs will always receive free admission. Parking is also free and there will be complimentary wheel barrels/pull wagons available for your use. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Mama Mary’s Farm Pumpkin Patch (Creedmoor)

At Mama Mary’s Farm, guests can pick pumpkins, interact with farm animals, take a train ride, go through the hay maze, play on the tractor tire playground, and so much more. Keep in mind activities will be limited on weekdays. On weekends, there will be craft and food vendors as well!

The pumpkin patch will be open September 30th through November 12th, 2023, Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

On weekdays, online tickets are $9 and $17 on the weekends, while children 2 and under get in free. Prices will differ if you wait to purchase your tickets at the gate.

Pumpkin Nights (Austin)

The same Pumpkin Nights located in DFW is also available in Austin! There will be a half-mile walking path lined with pumpkins featuring a pirate ship and different fantastical creatures made from both real and artificial pumpkins. There will also be a fall festival area with more activities, delicious food, and drinks. The event will also feature live fire dancers and a live pumpkin artist.

Pumpkin Nights will be open from September 21st to October 30th, 2023 at Pioneer Farms. Tickets can ONLY be purchased online. Weekday admission ranges from $15 to $20 while weekends will vary from $20 to $28. Children 3 and under get in free.  

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival (Georgetown)

The Georgetown Fall Festival at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm will be held from September 9th through November 12th, 2023 every day from 9am to 6pm. Prices will vary between weekdays and weekends, as well as online ($19.95 to $21.95) versus at the gate.

This safari-themed corn maze and giant pumpkin patch has over 40 types of pumpkins, as well as a variety of activities, including a petting zoo, mazes, pony rides, crafts, wagon rides, food trucks, live music, and fireworks (Fridays and Saturdays only).

Pumpkins will be sold by the pound and can be decorated on-site or brought home for carving. During October, hours will be extended to 9am – 8pm Sunday through Thursday and 9am – 10pm Friday & Saturday.

Sweet Berry Farm Fall Festival (Marble Falls)

Sweet Berry Farm will have loads of fun activities for the whole family from September 23rd through November 5th 2023. Visitors can participate in activities like multiple, fun mazes for all ages, hayrides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, flower picking, barrel train rides, and even weekend pony rides!

Each activity is individually priced, however, the farm accepts cash and credit cards. Individual pumpkins and gourds will be available for purchase as well. Children 2 and under will receive free admission on the hayrides and into the Candy Cane and Barnyard Mazes. Children 5 and under will receive free admission to the Texas Maze when accompanied by an adult.

Monday through Saturday, harvest hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm. On Sundays, hours are 1pm to 5pm. Keep in mind the farm is closed on Wednesdays.

Crowe’s Nest Farm Fall Festival (Manor)

Crowe’s Nest Farm is celebrating their 40th year with a fall festival full of fun, family-friendly activities! Every weekend beginning October 7th, 2023 (10am to 5pm), there will be a pumpkin patch, milking demos, hayrides, barnyard animals, and Texas wildlife! There will also be live music and snacks!

Online tickets are $5 to $10, with children 24 months and under receiving free admission.

Indian Springs Ranch Pumpkin Patch (Manchaca)

The Indian Springs Ranch Pumpkin Patch will be held September 23rd through October 29th, 2023. On top of your usual pumpkin patch and fall festival activities, this ranch also has exotic animals and an authentic Native American tipi.

There will also be photo opportunities with unique fall-themed backgrounds, face painting (only on weekends), and food & craft vendors (only on weekends).

The pumpkin patch is closed Monday through Wednesday, but will be open Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 6pm, as well as Saturday/Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Tickets are $8 during the week and $16 on the weekends, with children under 2 getting in free. Tickets are ONLY sold online.

Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival (Dripping Springs)

The Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival will be hosted at the 5-acre Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead on weekends from September 23rd to October 29th, 2023 from 10am to 7pm.

There will be 50+ fall-inspired games, attractions, and various activities, perfect for the whole family. There will also be food, drink, live music, and cute photo ops in the pumpkin patch. Some additional cost activities will also be available, like pumpkin painting and barrel rides.

Tickets are $15 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead. Children 3 and under will receive free admission, as will seniors (65+). Parking will also be free. Tickets can be purchased online.

Pumpkin Patch at Elgin Christmas Tree Farm (Elgin)

The Elgin Christmas Tree Farm will have a multitude of activities for the whole family this fall beginning October 7th, 2023 (weekends in October from 10am to 7pm).

Tickets can be purchased on-site and are priced at $10 per person (children 2 and under are free). Your ticket will include access to the photo areas, a playground, ball toss, and Hay Mountain. You can also purchase separate tickets for eight additional attractions and enjoy carnival style treats!

Fall Events at Waterloo Greenway (Austin)

Waterloo Greenway Free Fall Events will feature several free events this fall, from yoga in the park and weekly workout classes to the Morning Glories child education series and the 9-night art showcase, Creek Show. See their website for a full list and additional details.

Best Pumpkin Patches & Fall Festivals Near Houston, Texas

Froberg’s Farm Fall Festival (Alvin)

From September 23rd through November 6th, 2023, Froberg’s Farm will host a fall festival with weekend activities like plastic duck races, a variety of cannon games, a barrel train, playground, flower-picking, and, of course, a pumpkin patch (9am to 7:45pm).

During the week, the playground, plastic duck races, and the corn maze will also be available from 9am to 5:30pm (last wristband will be sold at 4pm). Wristbands cost $12 for everyone 3 years and older. Keep in mind, in order to enjoy the weekend activities, you must buy tokens.

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm’s Pumpkin Patch (Spring)

On weekends September 30th throughout October 29th, 2023, this pumpkin patch near Houston will give visitors a real farm experience.

Families will be able to buy pumpkins or enjoy one of many attractions on the farm, including hayrides, train rides, a petting zoo, and bounce houses. The photo opportunities here are unmatched with Christmas trees in the background, along with hay bales and pumpkins. There will also be a selection of delicious treats like BBQ and funnel cakes.

On Fridays, the pumpkin patch is open from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10am to 7pm. Entry is $10 at the gate and the additional 8 attractions on the farm require tickets.

7-Acre Wood’s Pumpkin Patch (Conroe)

7-Acre Wood will have pumpkins starting September 28th, 2023! However, on October 28th (10am to 3pm), the farm will host their FREE Thrill at the Mill event featuring a pumpkin patch, vendors, pony rides (weekends only), hayrides, and face painting.

Or, experience the entire park where your family can also play in an old Western play town, enjoy the petting zoo, and even a mini-golf course for $8.50 a person (children younger than 18 months are free).

7-Acre Wood is open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 5 pm.

Old MacDonald’s Farm Pumpkin Patch (Humble)

The pumpkin patch at Old MacDonald’s Farm will include an abundance of celebratory, seasonal activities.

The ticket price of $16.80 plus tax includes all the facilities’ fun! If you mention their website, you can get 20% off weekday afternoon tickets from 1pm to 6pm. This includes train rides, pony rides, the pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, and photo opportunities.

There will also be a large assortment of small and medium sized pumpkins for an additional $3, but young guests will receive a free pumpkin with paid entry. This pumpkin patch will be open from September 17th to October 30th, 2023, from 10am to 5pm. 

Blessington Farms Pumpkin Patch (Simonton)

Blessington Farms will have a pumpkin patch and fall festival every Saturday and Sunday from September 23rd through November 19th, 2023, from 9am to 4pm.

The activities here will include hayrides, giant slides, train rides, 25+ photo opportunities, and bird & camel feedings. Pumpkins will be sold per pound and online tickets are $28.64 a person. Seniors (65+) will pay $21.50 and children under the age of 2 will receive free entry. The bird and camel feedings cost $3 each.

P-6 Farms Pumpkin Patch (Montgomery)

P-6 Farms hosts one of the best U-pick pumpkin patches and fall festivals in Texas! Tickets are $24.95 (children 2 and under are free) and must be purchased online.

The activities available here are endless! From September 30th to November 5th, 2023 (10am to 6:30pm), visitors will be able to enjoy including carnival rides, photo ops, farm animals, pig races, and so much more! Visitors can also pick their own pumpkins and fresh flowers for an additional fee.

FCC Katy Pumpkin Patch (Katy)

FCC Katy will have a free pumpkin patch from September 25th through October 31st, 2023. There will be pumpkin photos, games, and more! The pumpkin patch will be open Monday through Friday, from noon until 7pm, and weekends from 10am to 7pm.

Fall Fest (Texas City)

Tanger Outlets will host their FREE Fall Fest on September 23rd, 2023 from 12pm to 3pm. The event will feature a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, carnival games, funnel cakes, and more.

Graff 7A Ranch Pumpkin Patch (Hondo)

On Fridays and weekends, September 16th through November 12th, 2023, guests can enjoy an 8-acre maze, a huge pumpkin patch, barn animals, a double-barrel train, and more at Graff 7A Ranch. After dark, the corn maze becomes a little spooky and firepit set-ups are available for rent.

Pumpkins can also be bought on-site for your cooking, decorating, painting, or carving needs.

Ticket prices vary from $12 to $18.50 and must be bought online, as the patch is cashless this year. Visit on Fridays from 6pm to 10pm, Saturdays from 10am to 10pm, and Sundays from noon to 6pm.  

Pipe Creek Pumpkin Patch (Pipe Creek)

Pipe Creek Pumpkin Patch is located about 30 minutes away from San Antonio on a Christmas tree farm. The pumpkin patch activities here are perfect for children!

This farm will be open on weekends starting October 1st to October 30th, 2023 from 11am to 5:30pm. Admission is $6 (free for children 2 and under) and includes hayrides, visiting farm animals, scarecrow fun, 6000 Christmas trees, and ‘lots of photo opportunities.

There is also a kid’s train and pumpkin painting available with the purchase of tickets, as well as a snack bar and farmers market.

Devine Acres Fall Country Fest (Devine)

Devine Acres Farm is celebrating fall with 40 acres filled with all kinds of activities on weekends from September 30th to October 29th, 2023 (10am to 6pm).

There will be live entertainment, 50+ activities, food, snacks, U-pick sunflowers and zinnias, and so much more! Tickets can be purchased online for $16.95 or $20.95 at the gate. Children 2 and under are free.

Universal City Pumpkin Patch (Universal City)

The Universal City Pumpkin Patch will benefit various organizations. Admission is free, but the staff asks that you buy at least one pumpkin to support their cause.

There will also be yard games, photo ops, hay rides (weekends only), and themed events like Stories at the Patch and the Fall Fair. See their website for a full list of their upcoming special events.

This pumpkin patch is open October 6th through October 31st, 2023, Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 7pm and Friday through Sunday from 10am to 7pm. 

Traders Village (San Antonio)

The 10-acre corn maze at Traders Village San Antonio will be open weekends beginning October 7th through November 26th, 2023 (10am to 5pm).

This year’s maze will feature a dinosaur theme, in honor of the Traders Village Dinosaur George Museum, with three separate mazes of varying difficulties. There will also be concessions and pumpkins for purchase, photo ops, a free petting zoo and more!

Admission into just the corn maze will cost $11.99 per person. Kids 2 and under receive free entry. You can upgrade to the all-day ride wristband, which includes the corn maze, for $17.99. Parking is $5 per car. Tickets are available online.

Rockberry Ranch Pumpkin Fest (Poteet)

Rockberry Ranch Pumpkin Fest will open on September 30th and last through November 12th, 2023 (10am to 6pm). Snap pics at dozens of fall photo ops, enjoy craft beers & wine, live music, and visit the ranch’s friendly barnyard animals!

There will also be pick-your-own flowers, one of the few “real” U-pick pumpkin patches in Texas, and a giant barn full of pumpkins, gourds, and more for sale!

Admission is free for children 2 years old and younger. Tickets will be $18.95 at the gate but can also be purchased online.

Bracken UMC Pumpkin Patch (20377 FM 2252, San Antonio)

The Bracken United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch will be open beginning September 28th, 2023. The patch will be open from 5pm to 7:30pm on weekdays and 9am to dark on the weekends.

Good News Pumpkin Patch (San Antonio)

The Good News Pumpkin Patch will be open from October 1st until October 31st, 2023. Follow their Facebook to keep tabs on their various opening times and activities like a Hocus Pocus Movie Night.

The pumpkin patch will also feature hayrides, a moon bounce, mazes, giant pumpkin slingshots, and more!

University United Methodist Church (5084 De Zavala Rd, San Antonio)

University United Methodist Church will host a free pumpkin patch from October 8th to 31st, 2023, from 9am to 7pm daily.

There will also be a family fun day on October 14th from 10am to noon, including story time, pumpkin painting, and pumpkin smashing. The pumpkin patch will also host a pet-friendly day on October 17th from 6pm to 8pm with dog treats, pictures, and bandana giveaways.

Northwest Hills United Methodist (7575 Tezel Rd, San Antonio)

Northwest Hills United Methodist will be open on October 8th to 31st from 12 noon to 8pm. Families from near and far come to this festive patch to choose the perfect pumpkin for carving, decorating, or simply enjoying the spirit of the season. It’s not just about pumpkins; it’s a community gathering place, with hayrides, live music, and delicious treats. 

Traveling Loaves & Fishes Pumpkin Patch

Traveling Loaves & Fishes Pumpkin Patch will be open on weekends October 8th through October 31st, 2023, from 10am to 7pm. There will be face painting, bean bag tosses, dress-up scarecrows, zip lines, and more!

Children’s wristbands are $5 and train tickets are $1.

Windcrest United Methodist Church (8101 Midcrown Dr, San Antonio)

Windcrest United Methodist Church will open a free pumpkin patch on October 2nd. It’ll remain open daily through October 31st, 2023, from 9:30am to 7:30pm.

There will also be a Trunk-or-Treat event on October 28th from 6pm to 8pm.

Float In (New Braunfels)

Float In will host one of the most picturesque pumpkin patches in Texas along the Comal River from September 30th to October 29th, 2023 (10am to 8pm, Thursday through Sunday). Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel!

Bulverde Pumpkin Patch (Bulverde)

The Bulverde Pumpkin Patch will be open September 30th through October 31st, 2023 (Monday through Thursday 3pm to 7pm; Friday through Sunday 11am to 7pm). There will be a pumpkin patch, games, hayrides, photo ops, and vendors & food trucks on the weekends. Admission is $15 per vehicle.

Helotes Hills UMC Pumpkin Patch (Helotes)

Helotes Hills United Methodist Church will open their pumpkin patch October 1st through October 31st, 2023 (as long as supplies last). Hours will be noon to 8pm Sunday through Friday and 10am to 8pm on Saturday.

In addition to carving pumpkins, there will also be decorating and baking pumpkins in all shapes, sizes and colors for sale. All proceeds will go to various local charities and other functions of the church.

There will also be photo ops and pumpkin bread for sale on a first-come, first-serve basis.
