Honeymoon Ideas in Texas: Brownwood

Where to Eat/Drink

Start your honeymoon in Brownwood at the Skies Over Texas Winery. Imagine sipping fine wine amidst the charm of repurposed materials, like the tin walls from an old barn and the quirky aluminum boat behind the bar.

Capture moments forever against the backdrop of the endearing “I love you and wine so much” mural.

Transition to Lucille + Mabel Kitchen and Libations for a touch of blend of indulgence and sophistication. Delight in tasty dishes like Korean Fried Mac and their selection of wet and dry aged steaks.

Things to Do

Book a couple’s massage at the Texas Massage Academy, where relaxation comes at an affordable price. As exciting as wedding planning is, it can also be stressful. This way, you can unwind and let go of any lingering stress as skilled hands work out your knots.

Nothing is more relaxing than wandering through a bookstore, especially one as charming as Intermission Bookshop. Where history meets literature, browse shelves laden with tales and history.

My husband and I especially love their collection of blind date books. They’re wrapped in brown paper to conceal the cover, so you won’t know what you picked until you open it!

Continue your adventure at Los Treces, an Old West replica town in nearby Early, just outside of Brownwood. Embrace the spirit of the Wild West and arrive in your finest cowboy/cowgirl attire!
