  • Stay Black and Live: A Virtual Juneteenth Festival: This special event celebrates Juneteeth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States after the Civil War. June 12 – 19, 2023
  • Austin Asian American Film Festival: This annual festival promotes Asian American and Pacific Islander films while supporting creative talents and top-quality cinema. June 21 – 25, 2023

Bay Area Houston

  • White Linen Night: Wear your favorite white outfit and head out to downtown League City for a fun night of live music, impressive artwork from over 100 artists, and admire the beautiful, historic homes. June 10, 2023, 4 PM to 8 PM

  • Astronomy in the Park (free): Pack up your telescope, your blankets, and lawn chairs and come out to Rustic Oak Park for some stargazing. Monthly on the 1st Saturday, 7 PM to 9:30 PM.

Beaumont

  • Juneteenth Celebration (free admission & street parking): Honor black history and culture by supporting black-owned businesses and restaurants. Plus, the baddest band in the land, Original Lakeside, will be performing! June 19, 2023, 5 PM to 10 PM

  • Yoga at Cattail Marsh (free): Bring your mat and attend a Vinyasa yoga class on the Cattail Marsh Boardwalk. Weekly on Saturdays until August 26th, 2023.
  • I-10 Flea Market (free admission): Explore a wide array of locally made items and antiques. Weekly on Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8AM to 5PM. Location: 445 West Freeway (I-10, Vidor, TX)

  • Bellville Market Day and Farmers Market (free admission): Shop vendors and fresh, local goods like seasonal produce, meat, and more! Monthly on the 1st Saturday. Opens at 9am. Farmers Market is open until noon. Market is open until 4 PM. Note: The Market is not held in January, June, July, or August.

Blanco

  • Blanco Lavender Festival (free admission): Choose from a selection of lavender treats and local goods at this free festival in Blanco. June 9 – 11, 2023

Boerne

  • Moondance Concert: Invite your family and friends to this outdoor concert at the Cibolo Nature Center and enjoy live music from local bands. June 3, 2023, 7 PM to 9 PM
  • ABENDKONZERTE (free): Enjoy German music from the Boerne Village Band to honor the old Abendkonzerte tradition in Boerne. June 13 & 27, 2023, 7:30 PM

  • A Day at the Farm & Farmers Market (free admission): Spend time outside, shop, and hike the trails at Herff Farm. Special events vary, like classes or chances to volunteer with the Cibolo Center for Conservation. Weekly every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM
  • The Old Jail Museum Tours: Learn about Kendall County history inside this historic jailhouse that dates back to 1887. Tickets for visitors 10+ years old are just $5! Visitors under 10 will receive free admission. Weekly every Saturday.
Boerne Lake

Brownwood

  • 59th Annual Brown County Rodeo (free for kids 12 and under): Get ready for some action during this three-day rodeo event! Besides all the great fair food, there will be lots of attractions, dancing, and live music. June 1 – 3, 2023
  • Day with Dad Sporting Clays: Have an unforgettable Father’s Day at the Brownwood Claybird Club shooting clay pigeons. Enjoy sporting clays, five stand, shooting lessons, and more!

Reoccurring Events

  • 2nd Sundays in Downtown Brownwood: Every month on the second Sunday, local businesses will be open and offering something unique and fun! Explore the charm of downtown: the food, the drinks, the shopping!

Bryan

  • Daddy Daughter Date Night: Truman Chocolates will be hosting the sweetest Father’s Day event with Chef Mitch and his own daughter in attendance. Price includes one dad and one daughter.
  • Juneteenth Parade (free admission): This parade will start at Kemp-Carver Elementary School and end at Sadie Thomas Memorial Park. Make sure to stay after the parade and enjoy the family-friendly celebration. June 17, 2023, 10 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Juneteenth Blues Fest: Head to historic downtown Bryan for an evening of blues music to ceberate African American freedom. June 17, 2023, 6 PM to 8 PM

  • Beverage Flight Wednesday at Ronin Farm: The Ronin Farm will be serving flights of things like beer, wine, cocktails, or liquor that’ll change each week. Check their website to see what is being served that week. Book your spot online. Weekly every Wednesday during this spring, 5 PM to 10 PM.
  • Brazos Valley Farmers’ Market (free): Weekly every Saturday from 8 AM to noon.
  • Coffee Shop Social at POV by Pride Community Center (free): Visit with members and staff of the Pride Community Center while sipping on your favorite beverage at the POV Coffee House. Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Click here for more 2023 Pride Month events.
  • Pop-up with Pure Barre at Lake Walk (free): Enjoy a sunset barre class monthly on the 4th Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Be sure to come prepared with a yoga mat, towel, and water. Be sure to register online beforehand.

  • Burnet County Fair: Join in the community fun at this multi-day event. Enjoy a series of exhibits, craft and food vendors, and live music! June 9 – 10, 2023
  • Jackson Street Jams (free): Enjoy a night of festivities, live music, and street dancing at this family-friendly, outdoor concert at the historic Burnet Square! June 17, 2023, 7 PM

Canton

  • First Monday Market Days (free admission): The largest flea market in the world! Monthly every first and last weekend (Thursdays through Sundays)

  • Great American Summit: This charitable patriotic event welcomes people of all ages and all walks of life to create a powerful community of unstoppable leaders who protect America’s core values. June 2 – 3, 2023
  • Pride Block Party (free admission): This is an annual celebration of the lives and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. This event will feature a variety of activities, concerts, films, and guided tours. June 16, 2023, 6 PM to 11:30 PM. Click here for more 2023 Pride Month events.
  • Father’s Day Fun for the Whole Family: Create memories that will last a lifetime at the Dallas Zoo this Father’s Day! Get up close and hands-on with some amazing life-sized animatronic dinosaurs during this immersive experience. June 17 – 18, 2023, 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Juneteenth on Main Block Party (free): Celebrate black music and culture right on Main Street! Over 25 Black-owned business vendors will also be featured and open to the public. June 18, 2023, 12 PM to 6 PM

  • Hot Rods & Cowboys: This is a perfect event for all car lovers and enthusiasts as they get to see an amazing line up of, not only cars, but also but also bikes, trucks, and tractors. June 25, 2023, 1 PM to 4 PM

Farmersville

  • May Music Fest (free for kids under 12): This event has been rescheduled and will be held at the Cedar Hollow Winery and Vineyard. June 9, 2023, 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Future Events

  • Casino Night: Play roulette, Texas Hold’em, Craps, and Blackjack. Your ticket will get you $2,000 in Funny Money to start with prizes available for you to win! August 12, 2023, 7 PM to 10 PM
  • Trick-It-Up Bike Ride: There will be snacks and lunch provided along with a St. Arnold’s Beer Garden and live music. Come ready to ride in with your best bike decor and Halloween costume! October 28, 2023

  • Taste of the Cowboys: Join the Dallas Cowboys at this charitable event for the North Texas Food Bank where you’ll have access to over 20 gourmet food stations and bars with live entertainment. June 9, 2023, 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM
  • Make Music Day (free): This is a free celebration of music around the world so make sure to join in on the fun! June 21, 2023, 8 AM to 2 PM

Reoccurring Events

  • Frisco Starfest (free): Hang out with the Texas Astronomical Society and learn all about space. Check the hotline before you go by calling 214-800-6000. Monthly on the 2nd Saturday, 6 PM to 10:30 PM weather permitting.

Galveston

  • Juneteenth Parade & Picnic (free admission): The parade will start at 26th and Avenue H and ends at 41st and Avenue H. It’ll be followed by a picnic at Wright Cuney Park you can enjoy with the whole family. June 17, 2023, 1 PM to 5 PM
  • Juneteenth Comedy Fest: Celebrate Juneteenth with laughter at the Galveston Island Convention Center with an all-star lineup of some of Texas’ best comedians. June 17, 2023, 7 PM to 11 PM

  • Rise Prohibition Brunch at Mob Bar: This local speakeasy will feature Sinatra, live jazz, and a menu full of themed food and drinks. Weekly every Sunday, 12 PM to 4 PM.

  • Swim, Bike, Run Fun Club Bike Ride: Get your legs moving at this fun cycling event where you’ll tour the beautiful countryside of Walburg. June 3, 2023, 7:45 AM to 6 PM
  • Juneteenth Celebration: Join the entire community as the spirit of diversity, equity and inclusiveness is celebrated. This 2-day event will showcase live music and dance performances as well as festivities, food, and vendor booths for the whole family! June 16 to 17, 2023

  • Tour de Paris: No need to go to France to watch the Tour de France when Paris TX hosts its very own version! It has been a local favorite since 1984 and participation has grown significantly since then. Participants must register online. July 15, 2023, start time is 8 AM.
  • Balloon & Music Festival: Watch hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes take flight while you enjoy music, vendors, and kid-friendly activities. September 8 – 10, 2023

  • Juneteenth Festival Round Rock (free): Make a positive impact in the community by attending this event to promote respect of all cultures. June 17, 2023, 4 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Round Rock Pop-Up Art Shows: Plan for a day of art shopping and art making in beautiful, historic downtown Round Rock. June 24, 2023, 10 AM to 3 PM

Reoccurring Events

  • Music on Main (free): Not only will there be live music, but you’re encouraged to enjoy dinner or snacks on the lawn or visit one of Main Street Round Rock’s many restaurants. There will also be free parking, face painting, balloon artists, and more! Weekly on Wednesdays from 7 PM to 9 PM (starting March 22 until June 28, 2023).

San Antonio

  • 2nd Annual Filipino and Pacific Islander Festival: Support the Filipino and Pacific Islander community by attending this annual event. It will be filled with programs showcasing their heritage, culture and values. June 3 – 4, 2023
  • Fiesta Noche Del Rio (66th Season): Since 1957, this San Antonio tradition has been supporting local children’s charities with an evening event featuring cultural songs, dances, and colorful costumes.  June 9, 2023, 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM
  • Bud Light Pride River Parade & Celebration (free): The La Villita River Theatre will host live entertainment from 1 PM to 5 PM, followed by the River Parade with its 17 decorated floats from 4PM to 5 PM downtown, and additional entertainment (including a portion of the parade route) at the River Walk Museum Reach from 7 PM to 8PM.   • Great SA – Freedom: A Juneteeth Culinary Conversation: This interactive panel will highlight how we can celebrate Black heritage through food. There will be networking on the lawn to start off the event, along with food for purchase, followed by a social hour at the conclusion of the panel discussion. June 14, 2023, 6 PM to 8:30 PM

Tyler

  • 3rd Annual Tyler Pride March: Check out the LGBTQ+ vendors and performers then join the half-mile march from the Downtown Sqaure to Broadway and Front Street! June 4, 2023, 10 AM to 4 PM. Click here for more 2023 Pride Month events.
  • Kids Bike Fest (free for all kids): Bring your bikes, tents, and/or lawn chairs and spend a day at East Side Park Lake Tyler with fun activities like egg toss, skateboard and bicycle races, as well as corn hole, ring toss, and food (offerings will vary depending on the day)! June 9 – 11, 2023

  • First Saturday Hike at Tyler State Park: Attend a group-led hike through Tyler State Park. Event is free but there is a $6 park entry fee. Leashed pets are welcome. Monthly on the 1st Saturday at 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
  • Highway 155 Farmer’s Market (free admission): Weekly on Saturdays from 8 AM to noon.
