  • Wednesday Night Sailboat Races: Experience the excitement of the Wednesday Night Sailboat Races on Clear Lake.   • Austin County Seniors Game Day (free admission): Join the Austin County Seniors for a fun-filled day full of games! It’s a great opportunity to socialize, play games, and enjoy delicious treats with seniors in the community. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert to share. Coffee and tea will be provided.   • Brazos Valley Farmers’ Market (free): Weekly every Saturday from 8 AM to noon.

  • Pop-up with Pure Barre at Lake Walk (free): Enjoy a sunset barre class monthly on the 4th Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Be sure to come prepared with a yoga mat, towel, and water. Be sure to register online beforehand.

  • Jackson Street Jams – Rick Trevino: Don’t miss the final Jackson Street Jams featuring a free concert on the Burnet Historic Square! The event showcases Rick Trevino as the headliner, along with opening acts by Bryan Groce and Presley Grace. Grab your lawn chairs and enjoy the music under the stars (no glass allowed). The concert is presented by the Burnet Community Coalition, and the City of Burnet will provide free water and cooling stations. August 19, 2023, 6 PM to 11 PM

  • Galveston Summerfest at East Beach (free admission): Celebrate the summer vibes with activities like team-based beach games, beach soccer tournaments, and beach volleyball tournaments with a chance to win more than $5,000 in prizes! August 5, 2023, beginning at 9 AM
  • AIA Sandcastle Competition (free admission): Witness architectural marvels in the sand as over 60 teams build sandcastles during a five-hour intense competition. The following day, August 13, the Galveston Park Board will help teams maintain their sandcastles overnight for beachgoers to enjoy.   • First Friday Ghost Tours: Explore the legends, haunts, and spirits of downtown Georgetown on this historically accurate, one hour ghost tour. Tickets are $20 per person, $15 for members and students. Monthly every first Friday from 8 PM to 9 PM (through November 2023).
  • Live Music at the Library: The Georgetown Public Library hosts “Live Music at the Library” with seating limited to 200 attendees. These concerts are free and open to the public, and no longer require registration. Monthly every 3rd Sunday beginning at 2 PM
