French Connection Wines

French Connection Wines was born from a passion for French-style wines, and the winery offers a refined selection that stands out from the farm-style appearance of the winery itself. Beyond the tasting experience,  you can choose to stay in one of three charming accommodations  located on the winery. The three maisonnettes are designed to take two people each and are all very similar in aesthetic.

Each little cabin features a kitchenette complete with wooden counters, a bar fridge and microwave. So if you don’t feel like dining out you can heat up some food from the comfort of your lodging.  Bedrooms boast scenic vineyard views, while the maisonnettes exude a cozy, rustic vibe, providing a charming and picturesque stay. You can enjoy a little pop of color with an abstract painting in the bedroom, along with a sequined cushion. There is a little porch on each cottage, perfect for sundowners or whatever you feel like indulging in. In the morning, you will be treated to snacks along with coffee. The winery itself is just a short walk up a hill from the lodgings.

The Resort at Fredericksburg

The Resort at Fredericksburg features a winery and modern wooden cottages, providing an ideal retreat for wine lovers. The cottages boast lofts featuring a twin bed, while the main bedroom offers a Queen bed. There is a bar downstairs in the sleek open plan living room and kitchenette area.

Cottages one, known as Zion II, is painted white on the walls and ceiling with a wooden floor. Cottage two, named Horseshoe, is reminiscent of a log cabin as the charming wooden interiors remain unpainted. All of the cottages have covered porches.

Hof Haus is fitted with a blend of vintage furnishings and German decor, along with modern amenities. In the lounge you will find a large cow skin rug and in the bedroom there is a persian carpet.

The President’s Haus pays tribute to both U.S. and Texas presidents, showcasing memorabilia that honors the rich heritage of Texas. The suite comes complete with a leather couch and persian carpet in the living room, and there are a number of historical photographs on the wall. The bedroom showcases a four poster bed, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Paris Haus features antique furnishings and a cow skin rug in the lounge, as well as a small table and two chairs in the open plan kitchen area. There are two queen beds in the bedroom, so it’s the perfect place to rest if you are a party of four.
