The Jones CHRISTmas Ranch
We love a good drive-thru Christmas light display, and you’ll find just that at The Jones Christmas Ranch, a critical part of Boerne’s holiday festivities run by a local family of four.
For just $35 per vehicle on weekdays and $40 on Friday/Saturday, you can enjoy over 3.5 million lights synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes across 32 acres. You can also opt for a seasonal pass for just $75; however, due to weekend traffic, it’s limited to a single entry per night this year. Simply tune your car radio to 94.5 FM!
At least 10% of their profits go to their local non-profit, Shine Bright Ministries, which serves women and children’s homes. Tickets can be purchased at their on-site ticket booth. Both cash and card are accepted.
Open nightly from November 8, 2024 – December 31, 2024 (Sunday through Thursday, from 6 PM to 10 PM; Friday and Saturday, from 6 PM to 11 PM); Open until midnight on December 21 – 22, 2024; Christmas Eve/Day, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Boerne Holidays Gift Market
The Boerne Handmade Market is one of the largest markets of its kind in South Texas, so you know it has to be one of the best places for Christmas shopping! At this shopping event, you can browse collections of handmade products, including apparel, jewelry, toys, home décor, art, leather goods, handmade candles, household goods, and more, from over 75+ handmade-only vendors! It’s an easy way to support local businesses and simultaneously find the perfect holiday gifts and stocking stuffers for everyone on your list.
The BHM will take place at the 1910 Church, Sisterdale Road, Boerne. VIP Events are Friday Mornings from 9 AM to 12 PM and Friday Evenings from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The Public Market is open on November 23, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Dickens on Main (Free)
If you prefer to celebrate the arrival of Christmas AFTER Thanksgiving, then the Hill Country’s premier holiday celebration, Dickens on Main, is the perfect event for you!
It’ll feature lots of live entertainment, from bands to dance groups, an ice carving show, the one-and-only Dickens Market; a Tiny Tim Village for the kids with crafts, photos with Santa, and trackless train rides; Christmas storytelling, a Birds of Prey Show and more at the Dickens Village, and finally, the South Pole Village, featuring food, live music, and photos with the Grinch! Old West Christmas Light Fest
Get ready for a festive extravaganza like no other! Boerne’s Old West Christmas Light Fest transforms the Enchanted Springs Ranch into a mesmerizing wonderland adorned with over 2 million sparkly lights and beautifully decorated Christmas trees.
Imagine an authentic Old West town, bathed in the glow of a spectacular light show, offering tasty holiday treats, live music, S’mores Roasting, and fun holiday festivities that everyone will love. Breakfast with Santa – Tapatio Springs
Grab brunch with the kiddos and Santa at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. Seating times are 8:30 am and 10:30 am. Tickets are $35 per adult and $17 per child (ages 4-12), with children under 4 enjoying free admission.

Seasonal Concert in Cave Without a Name
This will be a holiday performance like you’ve never experienced before!
Come watch the a’Capella quartet, Tinsel, perform inside the architectural marvel Cave Without a Name. The acoustics are phenomenal and the illuminated cave formations are absolutely stunning. Weihnachts Weekend
During the first weekend of December, you can expect the annual Stocking Stroll (purchase tickets here), and the much-anticipated Weihnachts Parade, featuring enthusiastic marching bands, Christmas music, 100 gorgeous floats, and the joyous presence of Santa Claus surrounded by seasonal decor along Boerne’s historic main street.
Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets along the parade route, which extends from the local fire station to River Road.
Local businesses, shops, breweries, and bistros will extend their opening hours during this time to accommodate your holiday and leisure needs. December 6 – 7, 2024, at 6 PM.
Boerne Bright (Free)
First Baptist Church Boerne will host a walk-thru Christmas light experience with over 500,000 Christmas lights synced to your favorite holiday songs, an all-new Christmas Railway train ride for kids, hot cocoa, seasonal photo ops like a walk-in snow globe, and other sights and sounds of Christmas.
One of Boerne Bright’s most inspiring features is the Children’s Gingerbread Village. Through activities like a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and delightful holiday snacks, your child will discover the true meaning of the season – the joy of Jesus.

Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair
Every age group will feel the Christmas spirit at Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair! Over two days, the Kendall County Fair Grounds will host over 100+ artisans from all over Texas; lunch (for a $5 fee), children’s activities such as a coloring contest, and free photos with Santa in Santa Land, plus door prizes and raffles.
Not only will there be three buildings full of unique, handmade gifts, but you can also watch the artisans demonstrate their craft. The event will feature a bake sale with homemade goods! Concessions will include traditional potato soup and other items. Admission for both days is just $5, free for those 12 and under. A Walk in Bethlehem (Free)
St. Helena’s Episcopal Church & School will host their very own Little Town of Bethlehem walk-through experience for those looking to learn about and/or celebrate the story of Christ’s birth. Imagine walking alongside Mary and Joseph as they journey through the town, guided by a star. An angel appears, and the magi come forth, all heralding the miraculous moment when our savior is born in a humble manger, destined for greatness.

A Toast to Olde Town (Free)
Toast of Olde Town, brought to you by the Boerne Retail & Restaurant Owners Association, simultaneously celebrates the charm of historic downtown Boerne and the holiday season with live music, strolling carolers, and Christmas-y beverages. Local businesses and restaurants will have delicious food, refreshing drinks, live music, Wassail tastings with different holiday drinks made of hot mulled cider, ale, or wine and spices, and a spirited Caroling Contest.
You can also witness an inspiring Ice Carving Show, where the incredible artist Burr Rasmussen brings to life a breathtaking ice sculpture before your very eyes. And finally, Christmas Market Days with 130+ vendors selling handmade items, crafts, jewelry, food, antiques, collectibles, music, seasonal décor, chic wearables, and more!
