City Lights Downtown Holiday Magic

City Lights Downtown Holiday Magic, presented by Shell Energy, returns for its third year, illuminating the season with spectacular lights, enchanting music, and abundant fun. Open to the public and mostly free to enjoy, this magical experience invites families to explore an ice skating rink, gaze at breathtaking lights, and be captivated by mesmerizing Christmas trees. Discover 12 unique themed villages, Instagram-worthy selfie spots, and a variety of activities designed to spread joy and create cherished memories for all.

Spectacular displays include the Land of Sweets, Ice @ Discovery Green, Texas Winter Lights, Twinkle Town, Mistletoe Square, Winter Wonderlawn, Sugar Plum Plaza, Jingle Town, Peppermint Plaza, Snow Glow at the Bayou, and City Hall-iday Lights.For a fee, you can also ride the Hop-on, Hope-off a double-decker Holiday Trolley, with five downtown stops: Trebly Park, Market Square, Lynn Wyatt Square, Houston Avenue/Discovery Green, and POST. Winter Wonderlawn

POST Skylawn’s 5-acre rooftop park and garden will feature holiday lights, a 25-foot Christmas tree, 100,000 lights, multiple holiday-themed activations, and phenomenal skyline views! Texas Winter Lights at the Marriott Marquis

The Marriott Marquis gained its notoriety from its spacious, temperature-controlled rooftop Infinity pool and lazy river. How could it get any better, you ask?

For the last four holiday seasons, its sixth-floor rooftop has been decked out in over 100,000 colorful holiday lights, making it easy for everyone to be entertained, whether you’re missing the summertime or you’d rather be surrounded by Christmas decor.

Among the many delights for you to enjoy, expect festive cocktails, a wintry-themed menu, fantastic photo opportunities, and two virtual rides on Santa’s sleigh.

Ice Skate in Texas at Discovery Green

Looking for some wintertime outdoor activities? Green Mountain Energy Ice at Discovery Green offers outdoor ice skating for winter fun, even in Texas, where we have 70-degree weather in December. The kickoff party will occur on November 15, from 6 PM to 10 PM. There will be themed nights filled with fun and live music every week.

Deck the Trees (FREE)

If you are the type of holiday enthusiast who sees Christmas tree decor as an art, then this exhibit is for you! Alley Theatre and the George R. Brown Convention Center will display 40 stunning Christmas trees and wreaths for your viewing pleasure. Each venue has its own signature tree that matches a unique theme. You can catch live entertainment on select weekends in The Plaza at Avenida Houston. November 17, 2024 – January 1, 2025.

See a Chocolate Sculpture at the Hilton Americas (FREE)

Inside the lobby at the Hilton Americas, Pastry Chef Mahesh Weerasinghe and his talented team will hand-craft a breathtaking masterpiece, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, using over 1,800 pounds of chocolate, showcasing their dedication and creativity. Jingle Town (FREE)

Here, in Lynn Wyatt Square, you can catch three more interactive music boxes and a beautiful new green space. This seasonal wonderland will feature captivating interactive installations by LeMonde Studio. You can also admire two oversized holiday-themed photo frames that provide the perfect backdrop for memorable snapshots. November 20, 2024 – January 2, 2025.

Twinkle Town (FREE)

Trebly Park will host live holiday music every Friday night, and on Saturday afternoons from 12 PM to 3 PM, Santa Paws will be available for cute photos with your pets. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate from December 1 to 25 to warm your spirits while your furry friends get special treats. Don’t forget to satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious macarons at Tout Suite, the park’s cozy fast-casual café. November 22, 2024 – December 31, 2024.

Sugar Plum Plaza (FREE)

Play with a huge hourglass created by Creos and a Harmonie’s music box art installation in Fish Plaza in front of the Wortham Theater. November 20, 2024 – January 2, 2025.

The Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular City Hall (FREE)

Mayor John Whitmire and Reliant Energy will kick off the holiday season at the Reliant Lights Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular in Hermann Square at 105-year-old City Hall. This annual celebration is a joyous, free event for the whole family, with live music and the lighting of the holiday tree.

The spectacle is truly breathtaking with 99,680 shimmering L.E.D. lights and 4,000 beautiful ornaments. Don’t miss out on complimentary photos with Santa in his whimsical North Pole-themed booth. December 7, 2024.

River Oaks Boulevard Lights (FREE)

Take a drive through the River Oaks neighborhood with its 1,600 estates and mansions decorated to the nines with all kinds of holiday displays. According to their Facebook page, the best houses can also be found on Inwood Drive and Del Monte Drive, where you’ll find the “River Oaks Santa House.”

Other Christmas activities (for an additional charge) are available in the River Oaks neighborhood, like the Christmas Village on the Ima Hogg Estate. Be mindful that parking is limited, and it is recommended that you drive through rather than park and walk the area. Some houses will remain lit until nightly at the Feast of the Three Kings, 6 PM to 11 PM.

The Light Park

One of the many locations across Texas, the Light Park in Katy is a renowned drive-through holiday light display known as one of the world’s longest light tunnels. The park features millions of lights, providing a dazzling show described as “the Brightest Show South of the North Pole.”

Beyond the light tunnel, the park also includes other electrifying light shows across its locations. Each show boasts over a million lights, adding to the festive atmosphere and making it a must-visit destination during the holiday season.

Only one ticket is needed per vehicle, starting at just $29 each. This event is also pet-friendly, with food and drink available for purchase. Get yours online now! 44th Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market

Immerse yourself in the festive spirit at this magical Christmas Market at the NRG Center! Wander through a wonderland of holiday delights as you explore the charming vendors offering an array of unique and one-of-a-kind gifts, holiday decor, festive food, apparel, and jewelry perfect for all your seasonal needs. This 44th annual Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market brings together over 270 merchants in one place, making it a shopper’s paradise filled with larger-than-life nutcrackers and ornament-adorned trees.

Ride the Polar Express

BBrace yourself for a lively journey inspired by The Polar Express. Board the vintage train at the Galveston Railroad Museum, where you’ll be transported to the enchanting North Pole.

Meet beloved characters from the film, such as the conductor, the hobo, the singing chefs, and, of course, Santa Claus himself. Snack on cookies and sip on hot chocolate served by the singing chefs aboard the train. As the journey progresses, Santa himself will join you on board.

Galaxy Lights

Galaxy Lights, proudly presented by Reliant, unfolds as a mesmerizing space-themed holiday light show that defies the laws of gravity! As you wander through this stunning display, you will be captivated by dazzling lights that twinkle like distant stars and colorful installations that evoke the wonders of the universe.

Those looking for a quieter, less overwhelming experience are welcome to join in Low Sensory Night on November 21, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

Tickets start at $19.95 and can be purchased online.  November 16, 2024 – January 5, 2025, from 6 PM to 10 PM, kids 3 and under receive free admission. Galaxy Lights will be closed November 18 to 21, November 28, December 5, and December 24 & 25. November 16, 2024 – January 5, 2025.

Annual Old Town Spring Home (FREE)

If you’re still brimming with holiday excitement after enjoying all these Houston Christmas activities, visit the 44th Annual Old Town Spring Home this year. It’s another fantastic stop to keep the festive spirit alive and thriving with lights, horse-drawn wagon rides, and entertainment from local performers throughout town!

Come and explore quirky boutiques with historic ambiance selling clothing and decor, a craft beer brewery, galleries, museums, and Christmas lights after sunset. November 9, 2024 – December 24, 2024.

Dasher’s Drive-Thru

Chilly nights might make you want to stay in, but you can still get out and celebrate the holidays from the warmth of your car.

Dasher’s Drive-Thru offers light tunnel slots every 30 minutes, and Christmas displays synced to music.

You can also add a Park & Watch package, which includes 10 redeemable tokens for activities like an inflatable obstacle course, Santa photos, character photos, souvenirs, and food and drinks! Tickets and parking passes can be purchased online starting November 22, 2024.

Big Rivers Christmas Lights

Explore an array of Christmas activities sprawling across this 85-acre park! This incredible event showcases miles of lights synchronized to festive tunes in Dasher’s Drive-Thru and a walk-through display of dazzling Christmas lights.

Exciting additions include a hayride through dazzling lights. Bounce house and maze for kids,  Ax throwing, archery, petting zoo, photo opportunities with Santa! Delight the family with live music from local artists on select nights as well, along with other festive activities and carnival rides. Tickets are available online.  November 22, 2024 – December 31, 2024.

Visit the Botanic Gardens

Radiant Nature, brought to you by Reliant, promises a memorable journey for the whole family.

The Houston Botanic Gardens brings you Radiant Nature by Reliant, with 50 all-new, giant Chinese lanterns in anticipation of the Lunar New Year. They will be positioned throughout the garden, set to holiday music, with holiday photo backdrops and food/drink for sale!

This year’s highlights include a life-sized Chinese palace, pandas among bamboo and a waterfall, a canopy tunnel of oil paper umbrellas, interactive morning glories and sunflowers, and an interactive dragon that guests can manipulate to make it “dance.”

Children 3 and under are free. Parking on-site is $10, but a shuttle service is available off-site for $5. Tickets start at $28.50 and are available online. November 8, 2024 – February 23, 2025.

Zoo Lights at Houston Zoo

Embrace the enchantment of the holiday season at TXU Energy’s Zoo Lights at Houston Zoo!

Even if you have been here for a holiday season, there’s a lot to see and experience this year. Capture a magical moment by the enchanting Whimsical Wildlife Tree at the Reflection Pool! Dive into fun with cookie decorating at Twiga Cafe and Cypress Circle Cafe, then embark on an unforgettable adventure along the immersive Twinkle Trail, sponsored by TC Energy, in the African Forest, where vibrant, dancing lights create a truly captivating experience!

You can also wander through the grounds, aglow with festive lights, including animal-themed lanterns, an enchanted forest, and a Coca-Cola Polar Bear display. Sugar Land Holiday Lights

Sugar Land Holiday Lights has transformed their local baseball field into a mesmerizing, interactive masterpiece shimmering with Christmas lights.

With over 3 million lights illuminating the entire space, holiday shopping, 10 themed areas, delicious food, a 40 ft. lit-up tree, visits from Santa Claus (until 12/23), and a bunch of other attractions, it’s an immersive holiday experience that truly sparkles!

During the 2024 Sugar Land Holiday Lights, you can also glide across a stunning synthetic ice rink every night and enjoy ice skating right on the field! Don’t forget to grab your Ice Skating ticket add-on in your cart when you purchase your admission tickets. Magical Winter Lights

One of the joys of the holiday season is seeing Christmas lights strewn everywhere you go, but the Magical Winter Lights show will blow your mind!

Covering over 20 acres with all sorts of themed displays celebrating Houston and the holiday season, as well as carnival food, games, an interactive dinosaur kingdom, and opportunities to meet Santa, you’re in for a night filled with Christmas spirit and fun. Discover a breathtaking wonderland illuminated by magnificent lanterns, from a majestic Christmas tree to enchanting animal kingdoms. Experience the thrill of the roller coaster or enjoy a peaceful ride on the Ferris wheel and embark on a journey through the mesmerizing Space Maze.

Home for the Holidays Market

Explore over 100 vendors at the Katy Merrell Center, pose at the complimentary photo booth, catch a glimpse of Santa, and enjoy delights from food trucks while indulging in wine or cocktails.

Whether you’re aiming to tackle your Christmas shopping or simply unwind, this event offers the ideal setting for both activities. You won’t find anything like this on Main Street. Tickets range from $6 – $30  and are available online. Children 12 and under are free! November 22 to 24, 2024.

Lighting of the Doves Festival (FREE)

The Lighting of the Doves marks the beginning of the holiday season with a symbolic illumination signifying peace. Drawing crowds of thousands annually, this event celebrates cultural diversity with traditional and international performances, spotlighting holiday customs from around the globe.

Experience snow play areas, children’s activities, strolling entertainment, vendor booths, and more! The grand finale includes Santa’s arrival by sleigh down The Woodlands Waterway, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display. November 23, 2024, from 3 PM to 8 PM.

Visit a Christmas Theme Park 

If you’re obsessed with Christmas, Moody Gardens in Galveston has created a holiday wonderland that you won’t want to miss out on. This hotel has created a Christmas-themed Disneyland with attractions like breakfast with Santa, a festival of lights, an ice skating rink, holiday 3D films, train rides, nightly fireside s’mores, and holiday buffets.  And keep an eye out for Santa!

Extend your Christmas-themed itinerary and book a stay at Moody Gardens for a night or two for a spin on your typical Christmas. They are even open Christmas Day!

Tickets can be purchased online. November 23, 2024, to January 1, 2025, open daily from 4 PM to 9 PM and from 4 PM to 10 PM on peak days.

Visit a Giant Gingerbread Village (FREE)

Visit the annual Gingerbread Village at City Place, 1250 Lake Plaza Drive, Springs, and you’ll feel as if you’ve been dropped into a game of Candy Land with a trail of giant candy canes, gingerbread men, lollipops, gumdrops, and cookie trees, lead to a 16-foot-high house and 12-foot tall windmill, providing picture-perfect backdrops. December 1, 2024, to January 10, 2025.

Christmas at Dewberry Farm

Dewberry Farm’s Berry Merry Christmas celebration will include two new light shows, visits with Santa, wagon rides along the illuminated “Berry Merry Trail,” a stroll through the captivating “Merry & Light” walk-through trails of 3 million Christmas lights displays, tossing REAL snowballs, build a snowman, visit Santa Claus, and seasonal food and beverage specials amidst 40 rides & other farm attractions.

Upgrade to VIP Admission and enjoy everything from General Admission plus exclusive perks, including unlimited hot chocolate, a Christmas cookie, and magic light glasses. Tickets are available online for $29.95. November 22 to December 23, 2024.

Ride a Christmas Train

You can take an open-air train ride on the Christmas Train in Alvin while enjoying beautiful displays of Christmas lights.

This family-friendly event offers a place to grab a bite of pizza, a hot cup of cocoa or other sweet treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. A general store is also available to pick up some keepsakes. Children under the age of 2 can ride for free. Tickets start from $12 and can be purchased onlineNovember 29 and 30, December 5 to 7, 12 to 14, and 16 to 23, 2024. A Tree Lighting & LED Dance Floor – Pearland (FREE)

Embrace the Christmas spirit as Santa graces you with his presence to illuminate the Pearland Town Center Christmas Tree. Santa’s arrival, at around 6 pm, will mark the beginning of the ceremony, which will be followed by a fireworks display!

Dance the night away on the LED dancefloor with accompanying live music! Have fun with the LED swings and seesaws, and don’t miss the chance to shop at the Holiday Gift Market. November 30, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Tree Lighting Ceremony – Conroe (FREE)

Bring your entire family to revel in the festive joy of Christmas at the City of Conroe’s Tree Lighting Ceremony at Heritage Place (6:30 PM).Following this celebration, revel in the enchantment of Christmas on Main St. in downtown Conroe. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season outside Houston! December 3, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

Holly Jolly Jingle (FREE)

Experience the magic of the season at Conroe ISD’s holiday concert, with performances by its very own, talented students at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. December 5, 2024, at 7 PM.

Bellaire Holiday in the Park (FREE)

Join the City of Bellaire as they usher in the most wonderful time of the year with their festive Holiday in the Park event! Enjoy live music performed by local choirs, savor delicious food, and have some great family fun and more! December 5, 2024, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM.

The Seabrook Christmas Tree Lighting (FREE)

Get ready for an evening brimming with magic, music, and fun as the Seabrook Christmas Tree is illuminated! The Community House grounds will also feature cookies, hot chocolate, vendors, and musical performances by talented area schools.

And guess who’s making a special appearance? Santa Claus himself will be there to add to the festive merriment! December 5, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Jingle on the Boardwalk (FREE)

Embrace the festive spirit at Kemah Boardwalk with a special visit from Santa, the joyous sounds of holiday music, holiday shopping, hot cocoa, Dance Performances, engaging kid’s crafts, and a heartwarming toy drive. Weekends, December 1 to December 22, 2024. Times Vary.

Sugar Land Town Square Tree Lighting (FREE)

Revel in live performances, capture cherished moments with Santa, and indulge your sweet tooth with delightful treats as you gear up for the highlight of the night—a spectacular countdown to the tree lighting that will illuminate the Downtown Square.

Capture unforgettable moments with various photo opportunities, including a magical experience with Santa, the lit LET IT SNOW photo booth, and Santa’s sleigh. If you are feeling adventurous, ride an exhilarating 8ft snow slide and soar high on the mesmerizing icy blue LED swings. December 6, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Home for the Holidays Market

Enjoy 100+ vendors, a complimentary photo booth, a Santa sighting, food trucks, and wine/cocktails at the Home for the Holidays Market in Humble at the Civic Center. Come and knock out your Christmas shopping, then kick back and relax. It’s the perfect place to do both! Capture joyful moments with your loved ones at the Photo Booth! Santa will also be at the market all three days! Various food trucks will be onsite to elevate your lunch or satisfy a craving.

Parking and tickets for children 12 and under are free! Tickets are available online. November 22 to November 24, 2024. Friday: 4 PM to 8 PM, Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM, Sunday: 11 AM to 4 PM.

The Hollydays Market

Much like the Home for the Holidays Market, the Hollydays Market at Fort Bend County Fairgrounds Rosenberg will have Santa, food, and drinks. Explore an incredible marketplace featuring over 130 vendors across three spacious indoor buildings!

Discover an impressive array of new, unique, and one-of-a-kind gifts perfect for all your festive celebrations. From handmade crafts to distinctive decor items, you’ll find everything you need to make your events special! General admission is $6 & parking is free! Tickets are available online and are valid for re-admission on all days! December 6 to December 8, 2024.

Dickens on the Strand

The Galveston Historical Foundation proudly presents the milestone 51st edition of Dickens on The Strand. This annual festival, set in 19th-century Victorian London, features an array of family-focused programming, live entertainment, and special events.

Revel in parades, continuous entertainment across four stages, vendors, and exciting new additions like Tiny Tim’s Play Land and the Shopkeeper Skills Village. Select from various delectable food and beverages to Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, decorations, and unique gift items.

Tomball’s Deck the Depot Tree Lighting (FREE)

Celebrate the season at the magical Deck the Depot Tree Lighting event in Tomball, featuring a kid’s zone, trackless train, lively holiday music by Cool Freddie E & the crew, hot chocolate, holiday treats, and entertainment—all topped off with a special appearance by Santa himself!

Come early to shop for holiday gifts and to indulge in delectable food. Don’t miss the illumination of the Tomball Christmas Tree, a cherished annual tradition led by the local mayor Lori Klein Quinn. December 7, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Missouri City’s 40th Annual Snowfest Festival (FREE)

Be a part of Missouri City’s cherished annual tradition—the Snowfest Parade along Cartwright! Join the excitement as performers, dancers, floats, and more bring holiday joy to the streets.

If you would like to take part in this honored city tradition, register here. It’s a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the festive spirit and create lasting memories!

The Snowfest Festival will follow with a snow ride hill, market, carnival rides, food, games, pictures with Santa, live entertainment, tree lighting and a fireworks show to end the night. December 7, 2024, from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Run the Snowfest Shuffle

Runners of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join this year’s Snowfest Shuffle! The fun run will kick off from the Missouri City Rec & Tennis Center, featuring a mile-long trail that starts and ends at the same location.

Register by November 21st to receive a complimentary T-shirt—a perfect way to commemorate your participation in this exciting event! A toy donation is required to register. December 7, 2024, 9 AM start time.

Visit a Winter Wonderland

Deer Park becomes Reindeer Park in celebration of the holiday season, with snow areas, s’mores delights, live music, snow slides, carnival rides, a zipline track, a petting zoo, and pony rides. Families with children who have autism and special needs are welcome to a quieter, sensory-friendly hour at Reindeer Park. 

The cost of this event varies depending on which activities you would like to partake in, but wristbands to enter Reindeer Park are $15. If you purchase that, you can buy on December 6 till 8 PM. Support a Good Cause

The 3rd annual Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K at Addicks Park and Ride will donate all proceeds to a non-profit, Memorial Assistance Ministries, this holiday season. All participants will receive a festive top-notch, Officially Licensed Peanuts® finisher medal, participant bib, and performance tech t-shirt.  Santa and Post-Race Refreshments will also make an appearance! Act quickly—registration is limited to the first 3,000 participants, so secure your spot and be part of something special! The event kicks off with the Snoopy Kids Dash at 8 AM, followed by the 10K at 8:15 AM and the 5K at 8:20 AM. December 7, 2024.

A Christmas Workshop (FREE)

The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft’s art workshops will include a fresh wreath-making workshop. Create a stylish wreath using materials like DIY pom poms, ornaments, painted elements, and felt flowers. This class is open to adults 18+ or children 13+ with a parent. No experience is necessary. However, the space is limited to 15 participants, and pre-registration includes materials, tools, and fees. Participants will leave with a completed wreath! November 16, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Houston’s very own Museum of Fine Arts is going all out for you and your family this holiday season. The Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens offers unique ways to celebrate Christmas while simultaneously learning and exploring the outdoors.

Explore the historic first floor of Ima Hogg’s house, brought to life by live actors and adorned with stunning Christmas decorations and theatrical effects.

Your blossoming little ones who are exploring the world will be able to do everything from sledding down a faux-snow slide to playful cotton snowball tossing, making their own music with Christmas handbells, and taking pictures with Santa (available for $10; until December 23)!

Don’t miss out on the handcrafted model train as it circles a 15-foot Christmas tree, along with tons of Christmas lights that will make great backdrops for your photos.

Tickets are $18 for adults and youth (ages 13+), $12 for children (ages 5–12), & free for children 4 years and under. December 6 to 30, 2024(closed December 9, 10, 16, 17, 24 & 25, 2024), hours vary.

Tomball German Fest Christmas Market (FREE)

Didn’t get to attend Oktoberfest this year or you’re just looking for a fun way to get some shopping done? The Tomball German Fest Christmas Market at Old Town Tomball Near the Historical Train Depot Plaza will have 160+ vendors selling German heritage items and more to help you with your gift-giving this holiday season. There will also be 4 Live Music Stages with 30+ entertainers, food, and a Bier Stein Hoist Contest. Best of all, parking and admission is free. December 13-15, 2024, Friday 6 PM to 10 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

The 62nd Annual Christmas Boat Parade (FREE)

Watch a spin on a Christmas parade that you’ll only find in the Bay Area. The 62nd Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade will feature 60 brightly decorated power and sailboats floating from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon to Galveston Bay.

Watch from your boat along the channel or Nassau Bay and the Kemah Boardwalk from approximately 7 PM to 8 PM. The parade will also kick off with fireworks! See their website for a map of the parade route. December 14, 2024, 6 PM (at Nassau Bay Lagoon) to 7:30 PM (Seabrook and Kemah Boardwalk).

The Gingerbread Build-Off (FREE)

The 15th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off at Levy Park will be quite a spectacle, with teams of local architecture firms, design professionals, and more! competing teams will craft their masterpieces using 100% edible materials, composting all leftovers. There will also be a Kid’s Zone and a scavenger hunt, and Santa will attend. This exciting event promises to be free and open to the public, inviting everyone to witness creativity in its most delicious form! December 14, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

See Santa’s New Ride

Santa’s making a pitstop at the Lone Star Flight Museum, where children can watch him taxi a PT-17 Stearman plane and then hang out with him and Mrs. Claus while participating in holiday crafts and story time. These activities, including the Holiday Market, are complimentary with a general admission ticket.If you opt for V.I.P. experience, you can skip the line to have photos with Santa. The museum opens to the public at 10 AM. December 14, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Cookies & Cocoa with Santa & Friends

Join Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their joyful crew for a cozy celebration filled with warm cocoa, delectable cookies, and delightful moments on the ice! This special occasion offers children a unique chance to meet Santa and embrace the festive spirit of the season. Set against the enchanting backdrop of Woodlands Ice Rink in Rob Fleming Park, this event is an opportunity to create cherished holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Remember to register early, as spots fill up quickly! December 1 and December 8, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Christmas Tree Farms Near Houston

  • Old Time Christmas Tree Farm (Spring TX) – Includes activities like train rides, a petting zoo, a giant slide, a bounce house, and visits with Santa. Christmas Season kicks off November 23, 2024.
  • Spring Creek Growers (Magnolia TX) – Offers farm animal viewing, old cedar lookout treehouse, cornhole, hayrides, fishing, and lots of kids activities. Open beginning November 23, 2024. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Santa visits are also scheduled from November 23 to December 14, 2024.
  • Bozeman’s Christmas Tree Farm (Lumberton TX) – Hay rides available. Open Thanksgiving Day at 2 PM.
  • Double Creek Farm (Livingston, TX) – Kids will love bouncing around in the inflatable Bounce House or jumping into the Hay Jump for some energetic fun. Explore the imaginative Playhouse and climb around in the Fort, which is perfect for little adventurers. The Sandbox provides a creative space for digging and building, while various outdoor games promise fun for all ages. Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas

Experience Tim Burton’s iconic masterpiece like never before with the Houston Symphony in its Jones Hall!
