My husband and I have always found such joy in this cute little town that brings in some of the Austin food and art, but mixed with gorgeous trails and a quiet sense of calm! See The World’s Largest Shovel at Garden-Ville
At Garden-Ville Creedmoor, stands a monumental shovel constructed from recycled materials: its blade once served as a dumpster, while its handle was crafted from a utility pole, making it the world’s largest shovel. Soaring 41 feet high and weighing 5,000 pounds, this unique structure occasionally goes missing when showcased at local fairs.
Note: For whatever reason when we were there, the shovel was down. I’m not sure if that was bad luck or something else. If you visit, leave a comment on the status of the shovel so we can update accordingly.

Visitors can enjoy various amenities, including a pavilion, amphitheater, playground, trails, open space, a pond, and a council ring. Garlic Creek Park spans 31 acres of developed land, complemented by an additional 44 acres of untouched natural surroundings.
