High Hill Farm
High Hill Farm is a true gem of Texas glamping for couples and families. What makes it one of the most unique glamping spots are the getaway packages it offers for families. These include the Romance Package, Private Chef’s Dinner, Family Reunion Package, and Bonfire Beach Package. The bungalows on-site feel very suburban, painted in tasteful pastels and with sleek, minimalistic interiors.
You can book the luxurious Barn at High Hill, which accommodates up to 10 guests. It features 3 queen beds, 2 bunk beds, a spacious common area for gatherings, and a kitchenette. With a swimming pool, an 18-hole golf course, an intimate luxury spa, and a Côte restaurant featuring a delightful seasonal menu onsite, every family member will have a lot to enjoy.
Wahwahtaysee Resort
On the San Marcos River, Wahwahtaysee Resort offers family-friendly glamping tents. They include amenities like king-sized beds, air conditioning, an indoor spa tub and shower, private bathrooms, and kitchenettes. Families can enjoy kayaking, fishing, and exploring the river. Step outside, and you’ll find a spacious deck, a Big Green Egg for a family BBQ, and a golf cart at your disposal.
The resort offers various outdoor activities, including scenic walking trails, several beaches along the San Marcos River for swimming, splashing, and tubing. There’s also a teepee, a pecan orchard, and even a beach volleyball court.
Geronimo Creek Retreat

Orr Family Farm
Orr Family Farm is located in Oklahoma City. It is just a short drive away from the Texas border, and offers luxury glamping for the entire family. Staying in the spacious Conestoga wagons, which are equipped with a queen-sized bed, teepees, a private bathroom, and a mini fridge, is a one-of-a-kind experience while being surrounded by the great outdoors of Texas.

Dead Cat Ranch
Don’t let the name fool you—Dead Cat Ranch in Palestine, TX is a delightful retreat for family vacations and reunions. River Road Treehouses
Located near New Braunfels, River Road Treehouses offers unique lodging in treehouses along the Guadalupe River. It’s one of the best glamping spots in Texas, provided with the scenic landscapes surrounding the area. You’ll have a hard time deciding whether to stay in uniquely designed and custom-built treehouses or towering Riverfront Sky Cabins! The treehouse can accommodate up to 6 guests, with a maximum capacity of 8.
It has a Master Bedroom with a king-sized bed, an Upper-Level Loft with 2 Queen beds, a Twin Rollaway Bed, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. Outside, there’s a large private porch with a sitting area, picnic tables, and access to shared BBQ charcoal grills. With lodging options like Wings, which has an 800 square feet private deck, it offers sunrise and sunset views from your bed.
This place promises luxury accommodations for your family with a king-sized comfy bed, luxury linens, and air conditioning. They also have high-speed Wi-Fi, charging outlets, a private indoor bathroom with a spacious indoor shower, and eco-friendly essentials.
Silver Spur Resort
Silver Spur Resort offers several options to create a memorable family glamping experience in Texas. You have to choose from four unique covered wagon glamping units or a breathtaking Treehouse; chances are you’ll struggle with which one to miss! The Tender Foot wagons sleep 4, whereas the Mule Skinners sleep 6. These climate-controlled Wagons are equipped with a spacious king-sized bed, one or two bunk beds, and a cozy dining area, perfect for picnics and BBQs.
