A Review of Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

You know your vacation is off to a good start when you walk into the open-air lobby and you’re handed a glass of bubbly. Vacation mode is officially on! The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is located along the main strip of Palm Beach with access to Eagle Beach and J.E. Irausquin Blvd. is just a few steps away from the hotel. Sometimes the hardest part about vacation is actually getting into vacation mode and letting go of the stress of work. The Hilton provided everything we needed to unwind, relax, and truly enjoy our vacation.

Accommodations and Amenities

From the moment I stepped into the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, it felt like pure luxury wrapped in tropical charm. Each room was designed with a breezy, beach-inspired style that was both relaxing and inviting. I loved having a private balcony to soak in the Caribbean breeze every morning.

The resort’s amenities were equally impressive. Whether lounging by one of the two sparkling pools, enjoying the widest stretch of Palm Beach under a shaded palapa, or indulging myself with a spa treatment at the serene Eforea spa, there was no shortage of ways to unwind. For anyone looking to stay active, there’s a fitness center and plenty of activities, while the onsite casino adds a dose of excitement to your evenings.

Dining and Entertainment

The dining options at the resort truly elevate the experience. I couldn’t get enough of the Sunset Grille, a modern steakhouse where I celebrated with a decadent filet mignon paired with lobster mac and cheese. The range of choices here makes it easy to grab whatever you’re in the mood for, whether that’s an elegant dinner, a quick snack from Oscars Market, or a refreshing cocktail by the pool. Live entertainment at the lounge added a lively energy to the evenings, making it hard not to feel swept up in the island’s vibrant spirit.

Things to do at the Hilton Aruba

You barely have to leave the property with all of the things there are to do at the Hilton! I would even say the Hilton is a must-visit destination of its own in Aruba.

For an evening of relaxation, you could grab cocktails at the beautiful Mira Sol bar. In the evening it is draped in colors of lights, and there are musicians playing late into the night. We would reminisce over delightful memories in the Aruban sun while listening to artists ranging from modern violinists to reggae performers.

My cocktail pick: Order the Lime in the Coconut, a zesty combination of the two flavors mixed together in a tropical presentation (pictured above). Or relax by one of the multiple pools with cabanas for rent, perfect for unwinding and enjoying family-friendly activities.

Not to mention that they have a constantly rotating list of activities throughout the week.

One of the activities included stand-up paddleboarding out by the water.

And most days they have time to hang out with these colorful beauties! They have a little area with birds of all colors, and they will let you hold them. There was one bird that would take off Chief’s hat every time he put it on!

You could borrow the bikes on the property during the day. I would recommend checking out a bike the first day and heading out to explore the rest of Palm Beach. You’ll get to see the different activities, cute picture spots, and restaurants. It’s the perfect way to see the rest of the beach.

One of my favorite options that the Hilton Aruba offered was the ability to reserve your own personal palapa at no additional cost. You rent the palapa the day before and have access to it the entire next day! It’s a great option for families looking to enjoy the beach together.

There’s a casino on-site, which makes a great respite from the hot sun!

Plus, they had the cutest gift shop full of everything I wanted, including outfits, all the flamingos, and souvenirs you actually want to bring home.

Hilton Aruba's reception area featuring a curved front desk, staff in blue uniforms, a large screen, and potted plants in a bright space.

As if all of those activities weren’t enough, they have a desk staff on property to help you schedule tours, rent a car, and offer general advice. We used them to book a couple of tours. They also helped us make reservations for dinner several times.

You can’t go wrong with waking up, sipping a cup of coffee, and enjoying views from here! We spent many evenings looking out at sunsets here!

Overall, the room provided plenty of natural sunlight and space with lovely Aruban touches like the photo of the divi trees that are found throughout the islands.

Wellness and Relaxation

The beachfront Eforea spa at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is a haven for relaxation and wellness, featuring native aloe experiences and signature treatments. Guests can also enjoy outdoor cabanas, a fitness center, and a range of water sports, such as snorkeling and kayaking. The resort’s stunning location and impeccable service make it the perfect choice for those looking to relax and unwind.

Hilton Aruba Hotel Reviews: Final Thoughts

I had a fantastic time at the Hilton Aruba! Hotel reviews reflect the overall guest experience, and the Hilton Aruba consistently receives high praise. Not only were the rooms and properties gorgeous, but I loved everything that property provided for a fun time. Compared to Embassy Suites, the Hilton Aruba offers superior service quality and exceptional value, especially noted for its breakfast and attentive staff.

Despite ongoing construction, it was not an issue and did not affect my overall enjoyment of the resort. However, be aware of service charges, as they can impact your perception of the overall value. I highly recommend considering guest reviews when making your travel decisions, as they provide valuable insights into what you can expect.
