Enjoy the Serenity at Rivulet Kitchen & Bar
Rivulet Kitchen & Bar is a scratch-made restaurant on River Road in Boerne, TX. It offers both indoor and outdoor patio seating with picturesque views of River Road Park and Cibolo Creek. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Rivulet serves mouthwatering comfort food classics and globally inspired dishes crafted with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. We kicked off our meal with the mouthwatering Ahi Tuna Salad, featuring seared ahi tuna, edamame, avocado, pickled ginger, and cucumber on a bed of mixed greens.
Another appetizer we ordered was the Deviled Eggs, topped with glazed pork belly, jalapeno, and pickled red onion. For main course, I couldn’t resist trying The Wanderin’ Cowboy Burger, made with Texas Wagyu, bourbon & fig glaze, and the option of blue cheese or goat cheese, all tucked in a pretzel bun. My husband opted for Garlic Ginger Crisped Salmon, a 4oz wild-caught filet quick-fried and tossed in their Ginger Garlic Hoisin Sauce, served with pickled jalapenos and pickled red onions.

We loved the hand-dipped corn dogs, while the Chief enjoyed the triple patty smash burger topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, crispy pickles, American cheese, and Hamby’s signature sauce.
We capped off our visit with a great selection of beers on tap and a tasty milkshake.

During our visit, we toured their impressive 7-barrel brewing system and sampled some fantastic dishes. The Esquitas Salad, a twist on Mexican street corn salad, was a standout, as was the Cowboy Candy—whipped cream cheese with candied jalapeños served with a homemade baguette.
For our main courses, we enjoyed the Fried Chicken Sandwich on a soft potato bun and Beer Pretzels with beer cheese dip. The highlight was the Goat Burger, a delicious mix of goat and grass-fed beef topped with arugula, fried onion rings, and a three-cheese spread. If you’re looking for a great brewpub experience, Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. is a must-visit!
