Another great option is to craft your own wine at Water 2 Wine (need to schedule). Producing approximately 4200 bottles monthly, they offer personalized winemaking experiences. Jill, the in-house winemaker, provided fantastic guidance through the process. To make an appointment, just call 512-312-9890. This was one of my favorite things to do in Buda because it was such a unique experience!

Have a Meal at a Retro Diner at Dan’s Hamburgers
We enjoyed good food at Dan’s Hamburgers, an Austin tradition since 1973, which remains family-owned and operated. One of the most unique local restaurants, they offer a menu featuring tasty food like burgers, sandwiches, tenders, sides, shakes, and more, they are one of the best restaurants and are open from 6am to 5pm on Sundays and 6am to 9pm/10pm Mondays through Saturdays.
