This lively Tex-Mex (or is it Oklahoma-Mex?) restaurant brings vibrant energy to your date night with bright colors, upbeat music, and a festive atmosphere.
Their margarita selection is absolutely outstanding— and I’m nothing short of impressed! The wagyu fajitas were definitely worth getting and I devoured the mocajete guacamole. The highlight was their signature tres leches cake—generous enough to share but so delicious you might want your own!
Jack Rabbit: Romantic American-Irish Gastropub
For a more romantic dinner experience, Jack Rabbit is a great option! This American-Irish gastropub creates an intimate atmosphere with lush velvet seating and secluded tables tucked away in cozy corners. The lighting is perfectly dimmed to set a romantic mood while still allowing you to admire the beautifully plated food.
The craft cocktail menu here is (to no surprise) exceptional—creative, innovative, and expertly executed. My husband and I ended up trying four different drinks between us because they were just that good! The bartenders are true mixologists who put on quite a show while crafting these masterpieces.
The atmosphere feels more intimate and romantic than Chido’s, making it perfect for a special date night. We found ourselves lingering over drinks long after our meal was finished, just enjoying the ambiance and each other’s company in one of those tucked-away velvet booths.

To me romantic weekend getaways just call for some spa time. After all the waterpark excitement, this was the perfect counterbalance:

We booked the 80-minute couples massage in their special treatment room with a fireplace (yes, a FIREPLACE!). From the moment we stepped into the dimly lit room with soft music playing, I felt all the tension melt away. Our massage therapists were incredibly skilled and seemed to intuitively know exactly where we needed the most attention.

While the saunas in the locker rooms are separated by gender, it’s still a relaxing opportunity to refresh those muscles and get some additional zen time.

We turned the arcade into a date night competition—winner picks the restaurant for dinner! With everything from classic games to all these crazy new creations that weren’t there “back in my day”, we had a blast collecting tickets and acting like kids again.
Mirror Maze Madness
The mirror maze was surprisingly a great little date getaway addition! We were laughing hysterically trying to navigate through and bumping into a mirror randomly. I’ll never forget my how funny it was to have one person disappear and then reappear, but it wasn’t them, just their reflection.

We stayed in a standard room at OKANA, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable it was! The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved having a huge TV perfect for an impromptu movie night when we wanted some downtime.
There’s something so nice about cuddling up together to watch a movie after a busy day of waterpark adventures. Plus, with plenty of snack options just a few floors down, we could easily grab treats without leaving the building.
