Prime Location and Easy Access for All
One of the things we loved most about The Coop is its prime location, close to the top attractions in Boerne. It’s just two short blocks from Main Street Plaza and the Hill Country Mile, making it incredibly easy to explore the town. We were able to stroll to shops, local eateries, and historical sites without ever having to worry about parking.
On top of that, it’s only a 6-minute walk to Boerne Lake, which is perfect for those morning walks or just a peaceful afternoon by the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to base our stay!
A Premier Vacation Rental That Feels Like Home
As soon as we arrived at The Coop, we could tell this place had been a completely renovated home. The house itself is from the early 1900s, but the owner did an incredible job of updating it while still maintaining its fun farmhouse style. The superior craftsmanship in blending modern touches with historic details made it feel like the perfect home away from home.
And it has everything you could need for a short-term stay, from fully equipped kitchen essentials and cozy linens to thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries, WiFi, and even a coffee maker.
The neighborhood is fun and friendly, and we absolutely loved the view from the backyard, where Frederick Creek runs peacefully in the background. Relaxing on the back deck with a cup of coffee in hand while listening to the creek flow was the perfect escape!
Cozy Accommodation
The queen bed is an absolute dream—super soft and perfect for a restful night after a day of adventure. The bedroom is the ultimate retreat, featuring a beautiful wooden door and wood-inspired wallpaper, that creates a peaceful, farmhouse-inspired vibe.
With plush bed linens, extra pillows, and cozy blankets, you’ll feel right at home. The room is bright and welcoming, with plenty of natural light that make it a truly relaxing space to recharge.

We were really impressed with the amenities The Coop offered.
Despite being a smaller space, it’s incredibly cozy and thoughtfully laid out.The kitchen and living area feature a compact setup with a snug couch and a table, making it ideal for casual gatherings and dining. We didn’t feel cramped at all. Also, the upgraded lighting gave the space a warm, inviting feel.
The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals during your stay. With a refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave, you’ll have everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes. The space also includes pots, pans, and cooking basics like oil, salt, and pepper, along with plenty of dishes, silverware, and even chopsticks for a touch of variety.
And for coffee lovers like me, there’s a coffee maker to help you start your day off right.
The bathroom is designed for both comfort and convenience. It comes fully stocked with essentials like towels, soap, and toilet paper, along with luxurious touches like shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Enjoy a refreshing shower with hot water, or take your time pampering yourself.
The space features a bright, clean aesthetic with white-colored walls, complemented by wooden ceiling and floors.
The washer and dryer was a nice touch for freshening up our clothes after a day of hiking or exploring. The house is also equipped with heating/AC, which keeps things cozy even during the Texas heat. The high-speed internet was a bonus, as I was able to easily stream shows and stay connected.
Oh, and I couldn’t help but notice the cute chicken and goose decor, adding a lovely countryside vibe to the place. It’s the perfect little touch that made the space feel so warm and welcoming.
One thing to note: no pets and no smoking are allowed on the property, and there’s a no parties rule, which made for a peaceful stay.
Outdoor Oasis
There are two decks, each offering a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. The spacious backyard, shaded by a stunning 100-year-old pecan tree, provides a beautiful view of the creek, where the soothing sound of flowing water adds to the peaceful atmosphere. It’s an idyllic place to unwind and connect with nature, whether you’re lounging with a book or simply spending time on the front porch under a blanket of stars.
