There are casino shuttle services that operate between Dallas and WinStar. These shuttles typically offer pick-up and drop-off service at various locations in Dallas.
By Bus:
Greyhound USA operates a daily bus service from Dallas Bus Station to Gainesville. From Gainesville, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to WinStar World Casino & Resort. The bus ride is the most affordable option, but it is also the slowest.

Step away from the casino floor and into a world of bliss, where every detail is crafted to ensure your complete comfort. Casino Tower Queen and King
Perfect for casino enthusiasts, these towers offer easy access to the gambling floor and all the resort’s amenities. The rooms come with plush amenities like 24/7 room service, complimentary chocolates, and in-room coffee makers.
Pool Tower
This tower prioritizes convenience, placing you close to the sparkling pools, championship golf courses, and diverse dining options. The rooms boast luxurious walk-in showers and deluxe rainfall showerheads, along with 24-hour room service and in-room breakfast for ultimate comfort.
W Tower
Offering similar amenities to the Pool Tower, the W Tower provides easy access to all the resort’s attractions. However, this is the furthest tower from the casino.

The highlight of the daytime was undoubtedly unwinding at the Terrace Pool, a perk exclusively for hotel guests. It offered a serene escape from the casino floor’s hustle and bustle.
For a quick bite, we opted for lunch at Cascades Pool. The menu catered perfectly to poolside cravings, with their seasoned curly fries, mac n cheese bites, and hummus hitting the spot. We also shared a cheesesteak and a steak fajita quesadilla, both of which were delicious.
Spa Bliss
Saturday was dedicated to pure indulgence at the WinStar Spa. The spa day passes grant us access to their luxurious co-ed aquathermal area. The soothing ambiance, featuring a large hydrotherapy feature, experience shower, sauna, ice lounge, and walk-through experiential shower, completely rejuvenated us.

Thanks to WinStar’s convenient location, we ventured outside the hotel to attend a Flatland Cavalry concert at Lucas Oil Live on Friday night. This state-of-the-art venue boasts 6,500 seats and an exclusive club level with a private lounge, making it the perfect place to catch the hottest acts.
From heart-pounding rock concerts and soulful country music to side-splitting comedy shows, Lucas Oil Live is set to become the premier entertainment destination in the area. Here, the “Wandering Star Tour 2024” lived up to its name, offering a fantastic live music experience!

Lunch at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill was a vibrant Southern feast. We shared the Southern Shrimp Cargot, Cornbread Basket, and Buffalo Chicken Dip for appetizers. For the main course, we opted for a variety – the St. Louis-style ribs, a combination of sirloin & catfish with added grilled shrimp, and of course, we couldn’t resist sharing the Red White & Blue Funnel Cake and the Bourbon Peach Cobbler for dessert.
In addition to the casual food we’ve enjoyed, their dining options cater to every craving, from global flavors to regional favorites like the Dallas Cowboys Bar & Grill. Take in slow-smoked BBQ at Neon Pig, savor hand-tossed pizzas with creative toppings at Matadors, or pile high your plate at the endless Gran Via Buffet. From juicy steaks to fried bologna sandwiches, WinStar offers a casual dining scene that’s as diverse as it is delicious.

Fine Dining
The evening concluded with a truly special dinner reservation at Kirby’s. The ambience was upscale, and the food lived up to the expectations. We indulged in Snow Crab Claws (served Hot Scampi style), a refreshing Beefsteak Caprese salad, and a show-stopping choice between an 18 oz. Dry-aged Ribeye or a decadent 12 oz. Japanese A5 Wagyu Ribeye. The Creamed Spinach and Lobster Mac n Cheese were the perfect complements to our luxurious steaks.
