Tomball is full of hidden gems, and at first you might think of a wood craft studio as that, but that’s because you haven’t been to Craft Chicks.
Tucked inside a brightly lit space on Market Street, this woman-owned workshop and boutique is bringing serious creative energy to the community, and not just with cute signs and seasonal decor.
I visited Craft Chicks during my Tomball trip after hearing about their hands-on classes and take-home kits. It wasn’t just about crafting. It was about connecting, creating something personal, and walking out with a little more confidence (and maybe a bit of sawdust).
I didn’t walk in with a plan, but when I mentioned our ice cream-themed Airbnb, the owner asked, “Want to make an ice cream sign? ” Minutes later, she was at the computer designing it, and the laser cutter brought it to life. That ice cream-shaped wood cutout now hangs at Casa Kumwesu, and it’s a perfect reminder that here, you don’t just pick from a menu. You create something uniquely yours.
Whether you’re booking a girls’ night or just dropping in for a solo project, Craft Chicks makes crafting feel like a full-blown event.
