Location and Directions
Little Elm Beach is conveniently located within Little Elm Park at 701 W. Eldorado Parkway, TX 75068. It’s easily accessible from several major cities in the DFW metroplex. The beach is approximately 38 miles from Dallas (57 minutes) and about 50 miles from Fort Worth (1 hour). Plano visitors have to cover a distance of around 28 miles (47 minutes), while Frisco residents are lucky enough as they just have to travel 8.5 miles (23 minutes) to enjoy a day trip on Little Elm Beach.
Parking Fees and Rules
Starting April 5, 2024, parking at the park is just $10 per vehicle for the day! Visitors can pay easily with cash or credit card on site, but remember, the fee applies each time they enter. For those planning to visit often, seasonal parking passes are available: just $25 for residents and $75 for non-residents.

If you plan to stay overnight, Little Elm offers a range of accommodations. Whether you prefer camping or a more luxurious experience, you’ll find something that suits your needs.
Camping at Little Elm Park
Little Elm Park provides designated camping areas. To camp in Little Elm Park, a permit is required for tent camping, with each tent in your party needing its own permit. The Community Services Director or their designee can deny or revoke a permit. It’s imperative to note that permits cannot be purchased in advance for future dates; they must be used on the day of purchase.
The fees for tent camping are $5.00 per night per tent or $15.00 for a maximum of 4 nights per tent. Additionally, weekend parking fees are applicable from April through September.
